How the Founding Fathers Handled Disease Epidemics

By Douglas V. Gibbs
Author, Speaker, Instructor, Radio Host
Thank you to The Good Patriot for doing much of the research.

How the Founding Fathers handled the Small Pox epidemic of 1775

First, understand, Small Pox was much more deadlier than COVID-19 and medicine was not as advanced.  The mortality rate of small pox was about 10%, while the mortality rate of the novel coronavirus, thanks to anti-body studies revealing that there are many more cases than we thought (but they were asymptomatic), is around 0.02%.

a) Small Pox was new to the colonists, but had been in Europe for a longer period, so the level of immunity in British Troops was better than that of the American militias.  Therefore, for those entering the fight of the Revolutionary War, inoculation and a two week period of isolation to ensure the weakened version of the disease was not being spread, was required of new recruits, during which time they used the time to train and prepare for entering the theater of war.

b) A vaccine was available, but aside from the military recruits, it was completely voluntary for members of the public.  The inoculation was a weakened version of the disease, and did not contain unnatural ingredients like today's vaccines.

c) The sick was quarantined, and in some cases forbidden to leave their houses.  Healthy individuals, however, were not quarantined, and aside from a few travel restrictions, went about their normal business.

d) All places of businesses remained open unless the proprietors had small pox and were not capable of conducting business due to being ill.

e) There was not a gradual reopening of the country or a new normal.  Once the disease was gone, life returned to the same style it was prior to the arrival of the epidemic.

f) There was no political agenda or narrative present.  Only the health of the citizens were a consideration.

g) Nobody was fined or jailed for disobeying mandates or quarantine policies.

Use your Consumerism as a Tool for Change

By Douglas V. Gibbs
Author, Speaker, Instructor, Radio Host

The political left has been working on changing America through emotions.  They want you afraid for your planet, so they concocted man-made climate change.  They want you angry so they impeached the president.  They want you paranoid about your health, so they exploited a minor coronavirus into a worldwide pandemic.  They want you looking over your shoulder so they resorted to violence in the name of social justice after the death of George Floyd.

I refuse to be a sheep, so I look at the numbers.  Climate change is a naturally occurring phenomenon, so I am not afraid.  I listen to what President Trump actually says, rather than the liberal left's false interpretations, so I do not wish to have him removed from office.  I used science to figure out that the strategies being recommended regarding the coronavirus were bad strategies, and math to realize that they have been lying to us about the numbers, so I don't wear a face mask, and I don't act paranoid about social distancing.  I recognize that the rioting, like Antifa and Black Lives Matter, has nothing to do with racism and everything to do with ushering in a socialist revolution in America.

I am also vocal, and believe that the way to stop the socialist revolution is to not give money to those who support it.

That's why I no longer have a COSTCO card.  They escort people out of their stores who are not wearing a mask.

Today I went to a Shoe City store to look into buying myself a pair of Vans shoes.  Once inside, the store clerk, who, I understand, is simply following orders, said to me I had to wear a mask to be in the store.  A sign said so on the door, which I saw, but ignored.

"Sorry," I said.  "I am not a sheep, so I don't wear a mask.  No worries.  I will take my business elsewhere.  You do know, by the way, that even the CDC is now admitting they screwed up on their numbers and strategy recommendations, right?"

And then, I walked out of the store.

I then went to a Shell Station mini-mart to get a drink at the soda dispenser and right in front of me was a Black Lives Matter t-shirt.  "You know," I said, "the fist on that shirt is a communist fist.  Makes sense, the money being fed into Black Lives Matter is communist money."  Then I turned to his co-worker.  "Tell your boss his shirt lost you guys a customer."  Then, I walked out.

My wife was bothered by it. I explained to her that my principles were more important than the item I was going to buy at those stores, and to be honest, I can find those products elsewhere.  In my opinion, shopping at stores who are enforcing the draconian face mask rule, or allows open support of subversive groups determined to overthrow our U.S. Constitution, would be no different than giving my business to a store that supported NAZI Germany during World War II.  I can't do it.  And, if enough people did the same, those businesses would go out of business, leaving for us only those who are not traitors to the country.

Have you walked out of a store in protest, lately?  Voting with your dollar is a powerful method of sending a message.

The Silence is Deafening

By Douglas V. Gibbs
Author, Speaker, Instructor, Radio Host

Everything has been on hold.  We live in interesting times.  As a result, my life has gotten more interesting, too.

A text from a friend of mine who participates in the Constitution Classes and the Constitution Association read, "The Silence is Deafening."

Yes, it is.

Some folks think I have vanished, but in reality, there are a number of interesting things going on.

My focus during that last few months has been on my son's new life as a Christian, and some family politics that has gone along with it, my radio program, which is on the verge of expanding if we can just muster up the funding, Political Pistachio, and my wife's father who is in the final phase of Alzheimer's Disease.

The Constitution Classes should resume soon.  I was hoping they would be in full swing, by now.  In fact, one person emailed me saying he was astonished I was not having the classes.  "If anyone would be in defiance of the stupid stay at home order," he wrote, "I figured it would be you."

While the classes belong to me, the venues don't.  Out of respect to those who own, or are in charge, of the venues I use, I wanted to make sure the venues were ready for the classes to return.  After all, there are an awful lot of people, even on the conservative side, that either believe the coronavirus scamdemic propaganda, or they are fearful of disobeying the health department for fear of either being shut down, they are worried about being targeted by protesters, or they are not wanting bad publicity for disobeying the ban on group gatherings.  While I may think the whole coronavirus thing is a scam, not everybody does, and I have not wished to act in a manner outside what the venue managers want when it comes to their facilities.

The classes are normally on Tuesday Night in Corona, and Wednesday Night in Temecula.

Regarding the Wednesday Temecula Class, recently, the Chairman of the Riverside County Republican Party, Jonathan Ingram, gave me the okay to resume meetings and classes at the facility on Jefferson in Temecula and I expected to roll that out this week or next week.  An emergency trip to Oregon will delay that to likely three Wednesdays from now.  I will keep you posted.

I texted the owner of AllStar Collision, where the Corona Class meets, and did not get a response.  I have not had a chance to call him directly, yet.  I am guessing we will be fine getting our Constitution Class going again at that location, but out of respect of the ownership, I just wanted to make sure with him.  Expect that class to get going again in a couple weeks.

There will be a one or two week interruption in either late July or early August due to another trip I will have to make to Oregon, as well.  I will keep you posted.

Constitution Association events should get started again, but due to a bunch of problems associated with the coronavirus (which has resulted in some speakers not being willing to meet groups, etc.) we may need to cancel this year's annual event.  I may not have to if a couple things I am looking into come to fruition.  I will advise you once I know what I am up against.  There is also a funding deficit involved, and unless some kind of revenue comes in for the Constitution Association soon, we may not be able to afford it, anyway.

I have had an interesting host of health issues come and go, and return, over this period, and in September I am going to begin a series of appointments with Veteran's Administration neurology.  To be honest, sometimes it is difficult for me to do certain things, and I may need to draw back on how much I do. I was definitely overextended prior to all of this madness, and now that I've been out of motion for a while, getting the engines revved back up may be more difficult than I thought.

I have also been preoccupied with the health of my father-in-law, as I stated earlier.  He is an important person in my life, and he is now in the final phase of Alzheimer's Disease.  Prayers are definitely needed as this good man descends into a very difficult final few months of his life.  Unfortunately, there are also family politics involved that have made it difficult, and due to my experience in certain aspects of the situation, I have been tagged to carry a little bit of responsibility regarding the matter that has also filled up a major amount of my time.

I hope this gives you at least a little bit of an update, and while vague, an idea that getting back to normal, or at least close to it, is right around the corner.  Thanks for the phone calls, text messages, and emails.  I have largely not responded to many of your inquiries because of the fact that there are so many, and I have been in a situation that has made it difficult to do so, anyway. For example, yesterday I experienced a balance situation that had me bed-ridden the entire day.

God Bless, and I am looking forward to working with all of you to restart the engines of our efforts to restore the republic, and resurrect our U.S. Constitution.

See you soon.

Rioting and Looting, we know it's not just about free stuff

By Douglas V. Gibbs
Author, Speaker, Instructor, Radio Host

Rioting and looting is not just a case of civil unrest.  It is a propaganda technique.  Propaganda is usually not noticed by the average citizen.  It has been an effective tool in shaping public opinion and action since the beginning of time.  It is a way to herd a portion of a society's population in the direction one would want.  Often, it only needs a few participants, and usually those participants don't even realize the extent of how they are being used.  Propaganda turns lies into truth, misinformation into trusted facts, inflammatory language into a common part of the lexicon, and utilizes deception to shape public perception.  There is always a political agenda behind propaganda, and the more deceptive the schemes, the more likely it is a move towards an authoritarian system of collectivism.  Regardless of how the propaganda is deployed, it means to manipulate members of the population to act in a manner the puppeteers desire.  Then, even the actions encouraged by the propaganda, such as rioting and looting, becomes a part of the propaganda as well.  People watching the destruction are influenced by it, propagandized by the message behind it, and will even often be encouraged by what they see to participate in it.

Humans are a creature that likes to huddle in groups, and follow the herd.  Therefore, peer pressure is a large part of the strategy of propaganda.  With the right techniques, a propagandist can even get people to destroy their own neighborhoods, and burn down their own places of employment, because that kind of propaganda is a powerful force in society, and can spread like wildfire if the topic is toxic enough.  Once the members of a group are convinced of something, and they begin to think, speak or act in the manner the propagandists want them to, a bandwagon effect takes place as the public follows the path laid out for them by the puppeteers.  Sometimes, even people outside those groups join in, if not in the destruction that comes with rioting and looting, but at least in giving them their support, or even subservience.  They are willing to do so even if it goes against their best interests, because they have been taught to perceive it to be correct behavior.

Following radical or revolutionary orders has a certain arrogance that goes along with it, as well.  There is a certain appeal to be different from the main fray, to be above them in social consciousness.  It is as if some people have an aspiration to replace society’s high class with their own "woke" class.  The propagandists know of this human desire to place oneself on a pedestal, so they use snob appeal as a selling technique. They convince the public to believe and behave in ways that are agreeable to what they think is an elite way of thinking, a path largely supported by the indoctrination the human-tools received when they came up in the public school system, or what they've been told through entertainment and various news outlets.

The truth must never actually be spelled out, because if the subjects knew what they were really supporting, they would likely be revolted by it.  So, the propagandists tell them only the amount of truth they need to hear, and in such a vague way that they get the idea without the details.  Certain language is used that is meant to entice, even though the words really don't offer a true definition or any real commitment to any meaning.  By offering generalities the subjects can be provoked to expend their energy on their interpretation rather than truly knowing what they are really rallying behind.

The propagandists also use loaded words.  Words mean something, and there is an extraordinary power behind language when it is used as a weapon.  Swaying public opinion may be as easy as simply using excessively powerful words with agreeable associations to convince the public to act in a certain manner.  With the proper words the public may be inspired to feel fear, anger, or doubt. A simple and effective means of loaded words usage is the act of name-calling, which many political groups have used to disparage opposition, quell dissent. and scapegoat groups of people.

Often, the situation or the people involved don't have to actually be a part of the subject that encouraged the rallying cry.  For example, in the case of George Floyd, while nobody disputes the egregious nature of his death, the reality is that Floyd had a prior beef with Officer Chauvin.  The knee to the neck that resulted in Floyd's death was a personal matter between the two, and had nothing to do with racism.  But, "racism" is the powerful word that the propagandists knew would get the rioters into the streets, so that was the accusation ... despite it actually having nothing to do with the situation other than the fact that the cop was white, and the suspect was black.

In the end, the whole thing is more about propaganda than it is about racism, or any other social justice warrior concern.  The lemmings out there are tools being led by the nose, so while the rioters claim there is systemic racism in our republican form of government, the reality is they are nothing but slaves to the demands of the propagandists who don't represent our Constitution, but are instead instruments of a force that is geared towards tyranny.

Chris Palmer Reminds us of Liberal Left Democrat Hypocrisy

By Douglas V. Gibbs
Author, Speaker, Instructor, Radio Host

The Democrats have a history of hypocrisy.

I remember many years ago reading about a city council member in San Francisco successfully proposing and enacting a city ordinance that basically said that all public easements were open to the homeless.  This meant that the homeless could sleep on any sidewalk since it was technically not owned by any private entity.  A conservative activist decided to see how serious the city council member was about his bleeding heart law.  The activist dressed up as a homeless person, and pitched a tent on the sidewalk right in front of the posh home of the city council member.  In response, the liberal Democrat called the police to have the person removed from in front of his house.

When Congress passed Obamacare during Barack Obama's presidency, while they believed it was appropriate to commit the American population to the government controlled move towards socialized medicine that may eventually destroy the private insurance and medical industry, the members of Congress added a provision to the law that made them exempt from it.

Now, during the George Floyd riots, sports journalist Chris Palmer reminded us once again of the liberal left's world of hypocrisy where the attitude is "what is good for thee is not good for me."  On Twitter Palmer captioned a burning building, which was an under-construction apartment complex for very low income tenants, writing, "Burn that sh** down.  Burn it all down."  Three nights later his gated community was under attack by rioters, and after it was over he Tweeted, "Welp. They're gone. Security called the cops and they swarmed. Some scattered, others were arrested. (You hate to see it.) Tense moments. There's graffiti everywhere. We live in a beautiful, safe community and have pride. These people had no pride and weren't protesters."

Later on, after receiving criticism for his change of tune when it came to his own neighborhood, he responded, "I did not know it was low income housing for many. That was my mistake. I do not endorse property destruction of any kind. Real protestors don’t loot. Peaceful protest is the only way. Be safe. God Bless."

I believe his backtrack was simply because it was "affordable housing", and he endorses in his mind the destruction of private property, especially the kind that belongs to business owners and persons of significant wealth, a.k.a. bourgeois.

Be not fooled.  This is a movement towards radical revolution.  This is a violent coup that hopes to collectivize this country into a socialist consciousness.  The hive-mind attitude of the rioters that screams "What one has all must have, I'm gonna take it" is a not an attitude of free enterprise, individuality, and liberty, but of communist ambitions.

The puppets of the liberal left, like the mainstream media, denies that the truth is what it is.  They know that you can't stop the mob if you deny it exists.  While some believe that peace will only happen once there is nothing left to steal, and nothing left to burn, I disagree.  The seeds of communist revolution have been planted.

The mob wants you to believe this is all about social justice, and that their anger is because in America there is some kind of systemic problem of racism.  No law condones racism, and while racists surely exist in this country, they are of such a small minority that they not only do not matter in the grand scheme of things, but also I believe most of them are so afraid of discovery that they hide their true feelings both verbally, and through their actions.

If there is a problem with racism, I also believe it stems not from where the radicals say it is, but within them.  Their decisions are based on race, and their hate for what they consider to be "white privilege," and a culture that is populated by the descendants of the Europeans who created and maintained colonialism and a slave culture.

Nobody in America owns a slave, and no American is a slave.  Slavery exists in the third world, but not here.  This isn't a race problem.  We don't have out of control racism in this country.  We have a class of radicals who want you to be frightened, and nervous, and ready to call for order through their kind of collectivist governmental system.  They used impeachment, the coronavirus scamdemic, the riots, the man-made climate change hoax, and anything else they can to make you paranoid so that you not only desire change, you demand it.  What we have is an invasion, an invading ideology that is determined to fundamentally change our American System.  The hypocrisy is only a symptom.  The accusations of racism, the demand to save the planet through government control of energy, and the authoritarian rules we so quickly chased after as lemmings when the coronavirus scamdemic emerged are only symptoms.  We are at war.  An ideological war.  A spiritual war.  A war to preserve liberty and restore the Constitution.  No, this is not some kind of racism problem.  This is an American problem.  We are at war for our liberty.

George Floyd Riots about Deconstruction of America

The notion of White Privilege has become a battle cry of the liberal left.  A generation of high-school and college students are being taught that a great number of “unearned privileges” accrue to white Americans, therefore, the charge of white privilege demands rational inquiry.

If the presence of White Privilege was true, then why are so many whites also in poverty?  Why is it that whites commit suicide at twice the rate of blacks (and at a higher rate than any other race in America except American Indians)?  According to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, white men, who the Left argues are the most privileged group of all in America, commit seven out of every ten suicides in America — even though only three out of ten Americans are white males.

If White Privilege was true, wouldn't more whites than blacks consider life worth living.

The truth is, there are conditions that make life better for certain groups.  Having two parents in the household is one.  If you are raised by a father and mother, you enter adulthood with more privileges than anyone else in American society, irrespective of race, ethnicity, or sex. That’s why the poverty rate among two-parent black families is only 7 percent.  It is 22 percent in white single-parent homes.

If White Privilege exists, then how do you explain the success of Asians in American Society?  If the whites have all of the privileges, then shouldn't they, too, as a minority, be stricken by the problem?  Asian Americans do better than white Americans in school, on IQ tests, on credit scores, and on other positive measures. In fact, according to recent data from the Federal Reserve, Asians are about to surpass whites as the wealthiest group of Americans.

How about opportunity for college?  Regardless of one's grades and extra-curricular activities, one’s chances of being accepted into a prestigious college are considerably greater if one is a member of a non-white minority group ... especially the black minority.

The claim of the presence of White Privilege has nothing to do with the truth, and everything to do with trying to portray blacks as victims.  This helps the hard left radicals in a number of ways, from continuing to ensure that blacks continue to view America as racist to the destruction of the idea that moral and cultural values determine the fate of the individual and of society.  You are a product of your morals, and choices, and your path is dependent upon those things.  It isn't poverty that causes crime, it is a lack of moral self-control.

The black community may have all the privileges they want if they simply resurrected the family unit, and set aside government dependency, and the thug attitude.  And, that is what has been happening.  Some people are waking up, and black approval of Trump, according to Rasmussen, is over 40%, and the radicals are rioting and pulling out all the stops not because of racism, but because they have become desperate ... it is the final lashing out of desperate scoundrels because, the truth is, Trump has been winning across the board ... despite the attacks.

Federal Government's Constitutional Obligation Concerning Domestic Violence

By Douglas V. Gibbs
Author, Speaker, Instructor, Radio Host

General Jim Mattis, United States Marine Corps Retired, used to be a part of Trump's team.  Trump fired him (well, he asked Mattis to resign, and Mattis complied), and now General Mattis has become critical of Trump's presidency.  One thing Mattis zeroed in on was Trump's consideration of using the Insurrection Act to quell the violence we are seeing in our cities by rioters claiming they are simply social justice warriors protesting the death of a black man, George Floyd, by a white police officer, Derek Chauvin.

Mattis, in his attack, wrote: "When I joined the military, some 50 years ago, I swore an oath to support and defend the Constitution.  Never did I dream that troops taking that same oath would be ordered under any circumstance to violate the Constitutional rights of their fellow citizens."

Anti-Trumper and less-than-a-conservative Republican Senator Mitt Romney has praised General Mattis for his criticisms of the president.  U.S. Senator Lisa Murkowski has joined Romney in a liberals-in-the-GOP versus President Trump mutiny that has most members of the Republican Party angry.

While President Trump has a majority of Americans supporting his consideration of a use of the military to quell the riots, and we know that the Democrats and their leftist allies are chomping at the bit hoping Trump's decision becomes a historical moment akin to Kent State in 1970 when 13 students were shot by the Ohio National Guard in what was later paraded by the media as being a "massacre", the reality is that Trump is correct, the country needs law and order reestablished.

Mattis, however, didn't take the law and order route, but instead said that the use of military personnel against civilian rioters is unconstitutional.  Folks in the media, also critical of President Trump's consideration to use military personnel to quell the riots, have reminded us of the presence of Posse Comitatus, which is a law that was passed in 1878 (and amended in 1956, 1959, and 1994) in response to the Union's invasion and occupation of The South which basically says that federal military personnel cannot be used against American civilians on American soil unless allowed by the Constitution or Congress.

What does the Constitution say?

Article IV., Section 4, reads, "The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against invasion; and on Application of the Legislature, or of the Executive (when the Legislature cannot be convened) against domestic Violence."

The word "shall" means that it is not a recommendation.  The federal government is obligated to protect the States against domestic violence.  The legislature has already made the application towards such an action with the existence of the Insurrection Act (1807, amended in 1956, 2006, and 2016).  All President Trump has to do, as Commander in Chief, is say, "Make it so."

Defund Police means Destabilize American Society

By Douglas V. Gibbs
Author, Speaker, Instructor, Radio Host

It only took three thousand Bolsheviks to change Russia forever.  When the NAZIs emerged in Germany, they began as only a small party, and was even at one point banned for trying to stage a coup.  They committed mass terror, and worked to turn morality on its head.  The dead were just meaningless numbers.  What truly mattered to the men in charge of bringing about tyranny was the revolution.  Seizure of power in the name of bringing about utopia, and doing so by breaking the backs of a few millionaires.  Broken promises were made, and enemies were created to foment anger and fuel the revolution. “The bourgeois,” Lenin liked to proclaim, “will always be traitors and cowards.”  Vladimir Lenin and Adolf Hitler both convinced their supporters that the old system was against them, so it needed to be destabilized, and eventually dismantled, so that a new system could be considered.  The NAZIs and the communists aimed to "rethink" society, and rebuild it in their own engineered image.  Laws were a bourgeois invention, unsuitable for revolutionaries.

In the United States the revolutionaries have done what they can to destabilize the presidency.  Fake news propaganda, political attacks, and impeachment against President Donald Trump, however, did not yield the opportunity to grab the reins back that the liberal left progressive commie Democrats have desired.  While the Chinese Wuhan COVID-19 novel coronavirus has provided some opportunities for the authoritarian Democrats holding office around the country, it wasn't enough to break the Trump administration.  Then, the Democrats received a gift.  A surprise opportunity that the radicals had been hoping for.  I am guessing they were hoping for a mass shooting to get a countrywide system of rioting in place, but a white police officer's knee on the throat of a black man, resulting in the death of the suspect, was all the opportunity they needed.

Riots exploded in the City of Minneapolis, only to spread across the country like wildfire.  Destruction and death has become commonplace.  Democrat politicians have championed the protesters as they, and their leftist counterparts in the media, ignore the part of the equation that has resulted in death, and further destruction of the American Economy.  That doesn't matter to them.  The dead and the damage the rioting is doing to business owners are meaningless numbers, to the liberal left.  What is important is the revolution.  What is being championed is the revolution, and the potential emergence of utopia.  Who cares if they are breaking the backs of a few millionaires, the economy, and the American System as a whole?

As the rioters work to fundamentally transform America a new mantra has emerged.  The liberal left, claiming that police brutality is out of control in this country, are calling for defunding the police.

Like their historical counterparts, the NAZIs and the Bolsheviks, the old laws are an invention of the old system of power.  American laws, and the law enforcement institutions there to execute those laws, are unsuitable for the revolutionaries.  So, they wish to defund the police.

Defunding the police, however, is a ludicrous idea.  I never thought I would hear such madness in my lifetime.  But, considering what the liberal left has been fomenting all of my life, I should not be surprised.  And, it is easier to understand what they really mean when you think about it.  They really mean more than defunding the police.  They mean to do away with law enforcement as it exists in our current society, which is a path of destruction, a path to the destabilization of our American Society.  It is a coup against our constitutional republic.  In the name of "demanding justice," the radicals are calling for the overthrow of the American System.

They wish to replace the old system with a new "transformative" model of collectivism.  Jeremiah Ellison, Minneapolis City Councilman, and son of Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison, who is a meld of radical Islam and radical leftism, tweeted, "And when we're done, we're not simply gonna glue [the department] back together.  We are going to dramatically rethink how we approach public safety and emergency response."

The promise is a well-managed collective community from a localism standpoint, but what will happen is more chaos as the poorest neighborhoods fall into more chaos and more authoritarian control, not just by the politicians, but the race-baiting opportunists and dominant gangs in each of the communities.

Law and order will die.  Roving gangs will simply shoot and kill off any MAGA supporters like it's hunting season.  Then, the businesses will either leave, or fail, as looting becomes the new normal.  The plan will create more no-go zones, as we see in Muslim dominated areas in places like Ilhan Omar's district in Minneapolis, and Dearborn, Michigan.  The concept the liberal left is coming up with is a replica of what they have been up to in Europe, where law and order is breaking down, and Muslim no-go zones number in the hundreds, if not thousands.

Then, American Society would collapse, with violence reaching a crescendo.  And as the chaos heightens, the leftists will propose another plan; except this one will be more than transformative, it would declare the U.S. Constitution "unconstitutional" and send us into the failed utopias Hitler and Lenin tried to create.

In short, defunding the police means the end of America as we know it.  The end of Liberty. The end of the free market.  And the end of the lives of anyone who would dare stand against it.

Bondage.  Progressive madness that, like Bolshevism during the Russian Revolution, has become a vastly simplified religion masquerading as science and political change.  It's a new twist on an old, and failed ideology that always results in chaos, famine, and the deaths of millions.

Trump Calls Governors Weak, I Call Them Accomplices

By Douglas V. Gibbs
Author, Speaker, Instructor, Radio Host
The headline reads: Trump Calls Out “Weak” Governors on Riots: Says You Have to Dominate Rioters, Arrest People, Put Them In Jail for Ten Years

The writer of the article, Kristinn Taylor, states that "President Trump lit into governors in a conference call Monday morning about the riots. A tape of the call was leaked to CBS News while other news outlets are reporting from other leakers on the call."

She essentially just reported the conversations.  The media, if you pay attention to them, took the information about what Trump said, and ran with it, essentially misrepresenting what he said, and saying he was being like a dictator.

Trump called the governors weak, but I believe many of them are actually accomplices in an attempt to overthrow our Constitution.

While I don't believe the conspiracy theory that the death of George Floyd was pre-planned, I do believe the protests are not protests, but rather riots planned, and paid for, by the hard left in the country with the hopes of fundamentally changing the United States.

The article begins, "We reported a couple days ago that recent riots in the US in many Democrat-led cities around the country are hardly spontaneous. They appear coordinated."

No kidding.

The article then reveals connections to U.S. based Islamist Organizations, domestic terrorists and others related to the Democrat Party.

In Portland, Oregon, Antifa showed up as was expected.

In Boston more masked rioters.

The same in Washington DC where Antifa set a church on fire and attacked the people’s house – the White House.

In Santa Monica, Antifa set a police car on fire and chased the police away.

In LA rioters vandalized a Jewish synagogue and then came back later in the night to burn it down.

In Minnesota, the Governor’s daughter and Ilhan Omar’s daughter were both sharing Intel with rioters.

In New York City, the mayor’s daughter is involved in the protests.

Democrat Speaker Nancy Pelosi refused to condemn the looters and rioters, she just attacked President Trump.

Democrat Presidential candidate Joe Biden looked weak while meeting with members of Black Lives Matter (another domestic group involved in the riots).

At Least 13 Joe Biden Staffers Donate to Group Supporting Violent Minnesota Looters and Rioters.

It’s clear that the recent riots around the country are not spontaneous. They are coordinated and planned. There is a very high probability these riots are related to the same individuals involved in similar activities over the past year.
Do these people truly hate America?

No doubt in my mind, as with the coronavirus, the Democrat Party and their leftist allies are simply using all of this as an excuse to foment socialist revolution.  Now, my question is, what can we do to stop this coup of our constitutional government?

I have a feeling this is backfiring on the Democrats.  The coronvirus backfired, and now the George Floyd riots are, too.

Tucker Carlson Explains What's Behind Riots

By Douglas V. Gibbs
Author, Speaker, Instructor, Radio Host

I am not going to go into his whole transcript.  I don't have to.  This pretty much says it all.

"It should have been obvious the first day.  This is about Donald Trump.  Of course it is.  We just couldn't see it.  For normal people Donald Trump is a President.  You may like him, you may not like him, but either way there will be another President at some point, and we will move on, as we always have.  But, for Donald Trump's enemies, there is nothing else.  Everything is about Trump.  Everything.  Donald Trump defines their friendships, their careers, their marriages.  Donald Trump affects how they raise their children.  Trump occupies the very center of their lives.  As long as Donald Trump remains in the White House, they feel powerless, and diminished, and panicked.  They cannot be happy.  In everything they do, their overriding goal is to remove Donald Trump from office.  And that's exactly what they're trying to do, now.  That's what these riots are about.  The most privileged in our society are using the most desperate in our society to seize power from everyone else."

Democrats Compare Rioters to American Revolutionaries

By Douglas V. Gibbs
Author, Speaker, Instructor, Radio Host

Headline: CNN’s Chris Cuomo, Don Lemon compare rioters to American Revolutionaries

The American Revolution defeated tyranny to establish liberty.  The George Floyd rioters are trying to defeat liberty to establish tyranny.

If there is any comparison of these idiots to any revolutionaries in history, it would be better to compare them to the French Revolution.

1) It was a monumental failure, and only resulted in senseless violence, death, and destruction.
2) It based its foundational platform on secularism, rather than divine Providence.
3) It called for collectivism, which killed liberty in France, rather than individuality and a free market which catapulted the United States into world domination, both economically, and ultimately as a military power.

COVID-19 Policy Lies and Truths

By Douglas V. Gibbs
Author, Speaker, Instructor, Radio Host

You must wear a mask ....... except that it is unhealthy to wear a mask as much as we have because if you do you are spending a large amount of time breathing in your own CO2, which is unhealthy, and lowers your immunity.  I have noticed the mainstream media has spent a lot of time trying to debunk such a notion, but it is fairly obvious that if you don't have a mask that expels the CO2, unless you are a member of the plant family, it is not good for you to inhale CO2 in large quantities, or for a steady time period.  As for the virus itself, considering how small a virus is, if you are exposed a mask is not going to keep the virus from working its way around the open crevices between your mask and your skin.

Staying at home saves lives ........ except that it doesn't.  If the virus is in the air, you are more likely to contract it indoors than outdoors.  The sun is a natural disinfectant.  Also, what has been happening is that staying indoors has increased the frequency of mental health issues, such as depression, and during the alleged pandemic the instances of suicide has quadrupled.

COVID-19 is a major killer ......... except that it isn't.  The CDC has even admitted they were wrong, claiming that it is likely that people under 50 have only a 0.05% chance of dying from the disease, and that folks older has only a slightly stronger chance of death.  Based on my number crunching, based on the estimates now available based on new data available as a result of antibody studies, the mortality rate overall is 0.02%, and for people under 50 it is 0.002%.  Since 240,000 people are injured each year due to lightning strikes, and the chance of being struck by lightning is estimated at 0.333%, you have a much higher chance of being struck by lightning than you have of dying from the Chinese Wuhan novel coronavirus.

During this crisis we must close non-essential businesses ........ except there are quite a few essential businesses they have proclaimed as being non-essential.  Gyms, for instance.  Working out increases one's immunity system's strength.  Churches.  I don't remember freedom of religion having a caveat that says "unless there's a virus," and personally, I think prayer, and doing so with my church congregation as we Worship the Lord, is very essential during such an alleged crisis.

We must close the schools until this crisis passes ......... except that there has been almost no confirmed documented cases of COVID-19 in children under 10.  And in the cases where the child was infected, they were asymptomatic.  After all, they are young, have strong immunity systems, and fall into that category of a 0.002% mortality rate (or 0.05% if you go by the new CDC numbers); of which I believe the number is so low among children the number is laughable.

You want to do whatever you can to keep from getting infected ......... except that's not true.  First of all, over 98% of people who contract the virus (once again, if you run the numbers that includes estimates related to anti-body studies) are asymptomatic.  Secondly, if, hypothetically, this mild virus decides to return next year, it will likely mutate, and be a stronger and nastier critter.  So, why would we not wish to get sick with it while it is milder and build up some immunity so that we have the immune response ready to roll when it comes back stronger?  If, hypothetically, it came back stronger at a later time, doing what we can to not get infected would just make it worse for all of us upon that return.

Social distancing saves lives .......... except indoors, in the right conditions, it is possible for this thing to go more than six feet.  Besides, as I said before, don't we want to practice herd immunity?  Not only to be ready for it the next time it comes around, but if we were to, say, shelter the most vulnerable, but the rest of us went about our normal business, and we all got infected, not only would it boost our immune response for when it returns (if that happens), but also it would run out of people to infect in a matter of a couple weeks, and be gone.  Social distancing has stretched this thing out, causing more damage than good.

We do not want to overwhelm our health system with the sick ......... First of all, if that is possible, we have bigger problems than a virus.  Our health care system should be ready for any emergency.  Second, since this thing is mild, and a huge majority of positive cases are asymptomatic, the hospitals are empty, and there was never a danger of overwhelming the health care system.

We must postpone elective surgeries so that beds remain available for COVID-19 cases in the hospitals ....... which has then left a number of people in pain who needs these surgeries, and the hospitals have remained empty; and, as some people I know in the industry have told me, are at about 1/3 capacity.

Vote by mail is necessary in this age of coronavirus ....... except that it isn't.  We have already established the error of the social distancing policies as it is, plus, the liberal left is constantly guilty of voter fraud, and mail-in balloting in its own right opens up all kinds of opportunity for voter-fraud.

News sources will keep you informed of what is going on .......... except that they have an agenda, they are supporting the narrative that is lying to us about the coronavirus, and in the case of CBS, they've been caught lying about the virus on multiple occasions.

George Floyd rioting sets back black community at least 50 years

By Douglas V. Gibbs
Author, Speaker, Instructor, Radio Host

The black community around the country is rioting, destroying property, and in some cases people are being injured and killed, in the name of Seeking Justice for George Floyd.  The black community in general has judged law enforcement to be guilty of police brutality because of the actions of a few individuals. If they are so quick to judge all cops on the actions of a minority, then what does the minority of the black community that is rioting think they are doing for the image of the black community? How is it that they believe taking to the streets and committing violence is somehow the answer to unwarranted violence by a cop against an individual?

Martin Luther King Jr. taught that you don't use violence to seek societal change, you use nonviolent demonstrations. The rioters are acting in a manner outside what Dr. King taught, and they have set back the black community at least 50 years, back to the sixties before the creation of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, and perhaps even further back than that to the days when President Woodrow Wilson a hundred years ago decided to segregate the military.

While I don't believe that the general population of any race color or ethnicity is racist, it seems to me that racism is being portrayed more by the black community at this moment through the rioting, and in situations like in Los Angeles where black drivers are pulling over white drivers, and pulling them out of their vehicle to beat the crap out of them.  White people are not the only people capable of racism.  Any person who makes decisions based on the color of one's skin is being racist, so the rioters, or at least the ones who are using Black Lives Matter's Marxist methods of disruption partly through racists schemes such as what I've mentioned, along with claims of alleged White Privilege (and knocking white people to their knees demanding them to apologize) is showing more racism than any other group in America.  While the black community, or at least a militant minority of the black community, accuses Caucasians of believing in white supremacy and white nationalism, the truth is, while some of those people do exist, they are a very small minority.  For the most part, except in occasional cases, racism has departed from America.

The riots are not about racism, anyway.  It's being used as a political opportunity by people who, when they feel like they've got an excuse and can claim they've been wronged, have run into the public square and are destroying property and committing violence against other people. Stereotypes are a difficult thing to break, yet the black community, or at least the rioting militant minority, are showing the white community at large, and the other communities in America, that when we need to come together and mourn the death of an individual who was wrongly murdered by a police officer, they believe their violence is the way to go about it.  They are literally burning down their neighborhoods, burning businesses that are already struggling because of a Coronavirus, and the message being sent is one that is not good for the black community in general. I don't believe that most blacks subscribe to the actions of the people in the street. I do believe that the people in the streets are not out there for George Floyd as much as they are there to be radical revolutionaries and anarchists.

I believe that most blacks agree with me about this, and are embarrassed by the black youth who are out there causing wanton destruction in the major cities of this country. What kind of example are they setting for the younger generation. Is this the message the young black men and women out there rioting want their children, or younger brothers and sisters who are still just kids, to see, and emulate when they get older?

I believe deep down the rioters would not want the younger people in their lives who look up to them and begin acting like that.  A part of being a responsible American is knowing when to use the process, and if the process is not working then work to adjust it. Poking someone in the chest, or going about it in a violent manner, is not revolutionary, it is stupid.

The young black men out there rioting are largely fatherless because Dad has been replaced by government dependency. The family unit in the black community has been destroyed by leftist Democrat Party policies. Your entire life has been lived in the cities, where the Democrat politicians run things and the cities are not any better under Democratic rule.  You have been voting, if you vote, for the Democrat by more than 90% of the Black voting population, and what have the Democrats done for you?  Are the city's better off?  Has poverty lessened compared to what it was before? What about the federal government? Before Donald Trump was elected we had just finished eight years of the first black president, with Barack Obama. Were you better off thanks to his policies? What did the first black president do for you in your communities? Under President Trump the unemployment rate, prior to the Coronavirus scamdemic, was lower than ever in history for the black community.  How was that rate under the Democrats?  Under Obama?  What has the Democratic party done for you, lately?  They have been enabling poverty, encouraging violence and striking out against the GOP, and they have done nothing to improve the conditions in the black neighborhoods other than maintain it as it is. Why? Because it is more profitable for them to simply maintain poverty, but never resolve it.  The politicians run on fixing poverty, but they never actually resolve the problem because if they did they would have nothing to run on, and you would no longer need them because in reality their policies are destructive, not only for individuals, but for the economic system and culture as a whole.  It is time for the black community to take a long hard look in the mirror, and it is time for the black community to realize the way to resolve their problems is not to resort to violence, and not to embrace socialist policies that are being offered by the Democrat Party, but to change what you are doing, take a stand on a different soap box, and embrace what made this country prosperous in the first place.  What has made this country great, and prosperous, is a free market where people as individuals take care of themselves and go for the best they can. Yes, I know based on the current situation that it is difficult, that it is hard work for a black person to break the chains of bondage placed on you by the democrats and the culture of the big city neighborhood.  It is tough to strike out on your own. But, it can be done. This is America. This is the land of opportunity. And crying and feeling bad for yourself and burning down the very businesses that could hire you if you needed a job is not the answer. Acting like a bunch of petulant children throwing a temper tantrum because a white cop killed a black man is not the answer. Your community has done this in the past. Rodney King. Trayvon Martin. We can even go all the way back to the Watts Riots. And what has it done for you? Nothing.  Change wasn't achieved because all you did is turn people away, shaking their head, thinking that perhaps the stereotypes they've been made aware of are true.

It is time to change your tactics. What you have been doing isn't working. It is time to shift gears, and take advantage of American Opportunity. It is time for black Americans to take advantage of the god-given opportunity Of American exceptionalism, and your Natural Rights secured by the U.S. Constitution because the Creator gave you those rights. It is time to quit whining, and quit throwing temper tantrums, and get to work on truly changing YOUR system so that you may take advantage of the existing American System in place. You want to change Your community? You want to do what's right for your children, and your brothers and sisters, and participate rather than desecrate and destroy? The more you riot, the more your community will continue to act this way, and nothing will get solved.  It's a cycle.  Black man gets killed, people riot, attitudes worsen, and opportunity gets farther and farther away.  The more you set your community backwards rather than moving it forward, the more you remind me of the kind of people Dr. Martin Luther King warned us about.  Dr. King did not march so that you could get high, and he did not march so that you could destroy your neighborhood and act like a bunch of government dependents.  He marched so that society may recognize his message, and so that blacks may recognize the opportunity that exists in this country for the black community.  He marched without violence, in a non-violent manner, for change. Change comes when responsible adults act in a responsible manner and work through the system, using what's available to them.

In all honesty, the system really doesn't need to change.  Our hearts do. The problem with Derek Chauvin who killed George Floyd Was that he had an evil heart.  And from what I hear, George Floyd was not saint, either.  It is time for change, but not to change the system.  It is time for us to change the hearts of the black community from violence, and a continual cycle of poverty, and to shift its gears into becoming a vibrant active community where the active participants operate in a manner that takes full advantage of the free market.  That is how we reach the American dream.

Opportunity exists for everyone.  Folks just need to stop for a moment, recognize the process, and operate in that manner.  Simple as that.

God Bless.

Grocery Store Exhaustion in the age of COVID-19

By Douglas V. Gibbs
Author, Speaker, Instructor, Radio Host

When I go to the store it is exhausting because of all of the people wearing face masks.

Let me reword that.

When I go to the store I feel like I want to go to sleep because I wind up counting sheep.
